The law of attraction is simply attracting whatever you think about into your life. A lot of people believe that dominant thoughts can find a way to manifest itself.

It wasn't just only recently when the Law of Attraction has been getting a lot of attention these days; however, this concept has actually been around since time immemorial and was even successfully used by some of the world's greatest minds. In fact, it has been found that Beethoven, Albert Einstein and even Jesus used the law of attraction. You may not know it, but even you may also be actually using it in running your life as well. The law of attraction can actually work whether you are aware of it or not. The key here is that if you are well aware that you are using this concept, then you are more likely to control whatever it is that you want to gravitate into your life.
How it Works
The law of attraction basically works the same way as you make your own reality. You attract into your life what you feel, what you believe is going to happen or what you want to concentrate on. And it is more likely that it is really going to happen. For instance, if you continually tell yourself when you are in debt that you need more money, then you are more likely to maintain that mentality that you need more money instead of thinking about how to find money. This is so because this is the kind of reality you choose to make. Although it may not be as easy as it may seem, anyone however can actually have the life that s/he naturally desires.
Why the Law of Attraction Works
There are two reasons why this concept works for many people. Whether the approach is bounded by scientific fact and logic or may be taken on a non-scientific approach, there is actually basis that supports what the Law of Attraction can produce.
Spiritual Explanation
A lot of people believe that the reason why the Law of Attraction works is because it becomes parallel with God and/or the Universe when it comes to our wishes. Moreover, it is believed that people are all made of energy, in which our energy works at various frequencies. This energy frequency can be changed with positive thinking, especially things that we already have such as gratitude, for example. If you think more on the bright and positive side of life and focus on your dreams instead of your frustrations, then your energy frequency can change and the law of attraction can help gravitate positive things into your life. The logic here is simple: what comes into your life depends on you and you alone.
Traditionally Scientific Explanation
This explains that the law of attraction works when you focus on achieving a better reality by taking more risks, taking on more opportunities as well as embracing new possibilities in the belief that such better reality can happen. On the other hand, if you do not believe that you can achieve such a possibility, then you are more likely to let these opportunities pass by or leave them unnoticed.
Moreover, if you think that you do not deserve better things in life, then you tend to behave in such a way that can sabotage your stakes at being happy. You can avoid this by changing your negative feelings about yourself or ill perception towards life into something that is positive, healthy and productive. Keep in mind that a good thing can lead to another. That includes the direction of your life, which can take a swerve from the slumps to the ups.

Note your lows.
Although an important rule in the Law of Attraction is to set aside whatever negative thoughts you may have including frustrations, you first need to note of the things that have frustrated you before you can actually change or get rid of it. This could be a highly stressful job, a relationship problem, a business not doing well or your kid's misbehavior. Keeping a journal for this step can help you get started.
List your highs.
After jotting down your lows, try to think of whatever it is that may be positive in each frustrating situation that you have noted. For example, your highly stressful job may come with attractive income benefits or can be a way to challenge or harness your creativity as well as an opportunity for you to grow personally and professionally. A relationship that has turned cold can give you an opportunity to come up with new ideas that can revive the spice and spark of your relationship.
Keep a positive vibe.
Always be grateful and happy for the good things that you already have in your life as well as for the better things that you believe will still come your way. It is important that you work at setting your negative thoughts aside and lean more towards happy and positive thoughts and feelings such as happiness, gratitude and prosperity. Believe that if you really want something, then the entire universe will conspire towards to you. Believing in yourself, your future, God and/or the Universe can greatly help you take full control of your life and change it to how you really want your life to be.
Envision a better life.
Make and maintain a mental picture of where, what and how you want your life to turn out instead of visualizing what you do not want. This can strengthen your drive towards attaining positive change and better opportunities. You may want to list in detail the things that you would really like to happen in your life. Think about what you envision and how it would be like to have them.
Think, Feel and Act
It's not enough that you only keep your positive thoughts and visualizations in your mental recesses. You should be able to act on it too. Make sure that your behavior, feelings and thoughts should conspire altogether towards your goals and try to do away with your negative thoughts, ill feelings or frustrations that you may have. By keeping an optimistic attitude coupled with constant visualizations of a better life as well as working on your action plan, then you can be on your way towards the attainment of your goal.
You may be wondering how long the Law of Attraction may take before something can manifest. Strong desire can manifest quickly no matter how little or no resistance there is. Neutral desire without resistance can also quickly manifest as well. However, a strong desire with disbelief, doubt or impatience may take longer and may even keep it from happening at all especially if these are more intense than your desired expectation.
The notion of resistance explains people's tendency to find reasons why something will or will not happen. And since these reasons are mostly negative, they are more likely to have more resistance than they are aware. Opposite resistance is parallelism with the Spirit. This includes the feeling of trust, that things will go smoothly and a cool, calm and collected disposition. These are important in order for the Law of Attraction to act. The time that it takes for a thing to manifest is the time that it will take you to align your consciousness with actually attaining it.
So if it is therefore left unchecked, using your affirmations may give you a powerful result opposite to those that you are affirming, since you are dismissing the positive with a negative message at a stronger conviction.
Another common blunder is when you ask yourself where it is?
Most people, when they hear of the Law of Attraction usually have high hopes that they can simply list their goals, design and visualize their reality, then impatiently wait for days or weeks, even months and complain if they are not seeing results. It is not that the concept does not manifest itself quickly. The thing is that you were not really strongly vibrating to where you trust that your desires can happen.
Instead, you are merely testing the waters with the Law of Attraction that you become impatient when it does not give you the results at the time you wish would come to you.
You may not know it, but at the start of the process, there already has been resistance and a lack of allowance when it comes to fulfilling your desires, thus leading to your impatience.
One mistake you can also make is when you pre-determine how and when your desires will gravitate into your life. You should understand that the law of attraction can only work because you want it to and if you allow it to. When you have a desire, more often you tend to determine how the Universe will deliver it, whether in your job, relationship or personal life. Keep in mind that the Universe's nature is infinite but your conscious mind is not.
Moreover, if you let your emotions be led by the so-called ‘outside evidence', then chances are that you are going to give up. Try not to allow yourself to get frustrated especially if your experience of reality may be different from what you are trying to attain, as this may only bring you more frustration and disappointment.
This happens in the first place because at some point, you may lack trust that this concept has scientific ground. After all, if you fully trust in the Law of Attraction, then it will be easily be reflected by your vibration and your desires can come into your life quicker than you expect and that you will no longer give second thoughts to external reality anymore. This is because you will come to understand that what you envision is a product of what you have been wanting to attract into your life and that this good change will come to you if and only if you consistently hold on to your strong and positive vibe.
In addition, you may be not be using the Law of Attraction well if you do not well handle your limiting beliefs running at a deeper level. Remember that you have infinitely many limiting beliefs that have helped make the reality you want to change. The things that you are also manifesting also revolve around your beliefs as well as the feelings that come with it. And because these beliefs go deeply, you may no longer already consider them as beliefs and may just occur as inevitable things. Moreover, these beliefs may come with particular emotions and that you may be more likely to feel them at some point when any of these beliefs shows itself. For instance, you want to attract huge money into your life.
if you think about manifesting that idea, you might experience a specific emotion, perhaps a feeling that you may not be able to attain that because it may be too much. this can be linked to a feeling in which you do not deserve it or that you may end up feeling frustrated with the how huge the amount of money is.
Whichever possible, these negative feelings are what can repel you from attracting good change and getting what you really want in your life. Be letting go of these emotions, you allow the Law of Attraction to manifest without grooves or ruts and give you what you desire. Only then can you experience what the Law of Attraction can truly give you.
