Remember that you parents need peace and quite. They need to rest most of the time to the less distraction there is, the better. If you can find a continuing care retirement community that is located near the beach, so much the better. The sounds of the sea can be very soothing to the senses and you parents will enjoy watching the waves from their bedroom windows.

Another thing that you need to consider before putting your parents in a continuing care retirement community is the kind of people who are running the facility. Make sure that the staffs are friendly and well trained. Remember that you parents to be treated well by the people who are entrusted with their care.
