Backpacking Groups Make Such Adventures More Enjoyable

When two or three people are together, they are already staring a small group, the more people joining their small unit, the bigger their group becomes. It is really true that no one's an island. People need one another --- for fun, for comfort, for solace, for correspondence, for help, etc. --- people just have to interact, to learn, grow, love, and live. It doesn't really matter how small a group is, although one could say that, "the more the merrier". There's always something strong and unifying in a group. People can look out for each other and can aid each other when needed.

This is very important in trips, adventures, and activities, or else these wouldn't be as much fun at all. More so in outdoor activities like backpacking trips, it would be better and more preferable to go in backpacking groups than to go solo. By joining in backpacking groups, you'll have less time thinking of the drudgery of the long walks, hikes, and climbs. If one participates in backpacking groups, it's more likely that he can benefit from it --- others may be more knowledgeable and skillful in backpacking, cooking, camping, etc. than he is, so a little help from the others in the group wouldn't hurt at all. Also, with backpacking groups, you would learn to be patient, sharing, understanding, open, and helpful, because you and your group mates can share whatever respective talents, skills, and abilities you all have --- for the betterment of the group and for the enjoyment of the activity. Having backpacking groups would give a backpacker a sense of belongingness and team play. Plus, when you are a part of some backpacking groups, you get to have more backpacker friends who also enjoy what you like and love.

It is truly great to go on a trip with your group and then meet other backpacking groups on the way --- either these backpacking groups are returning from their recent camping or they are still on their way to the camps coming from another location. In the middle of your trek, you can actually share some inputs of what to expect there or give some tips and warnings of some dangerous grounds that may be awaiting there.

Just make sure that you maintain your civil treatments, friendly terms, and casual communication with your group mates, or else your backpacking adventure will surely be a sour and bad one. What is important in backpacking groups is that the group mates must learn to respect, accept, and care for each other. Once you have this, you'll surely have a blast.
