What Makes Utah Wake Camp A Wake Boarding Enthusiast's Paradise

Many summer camps have a special perk that makes them popular. One of the newer ones is Utah Wake Camp. It is the first summer camp in Utah that focuses on wakeboarding.

The Utah Wake Camp begins its camping sessions at the end of May until the end of August. The camp has developed programs not just for beginning wakeboarders but also for intermediate ones. Wakeboard training is usually done at Utah Lake, Willard Bay, Sand Hallow, Quail Creek and Lake Powell.

Campers at Utah Wake Camp will feel safe and secure during their training sessions. That's because the training sessions will be administered by Ryan and Chad Anderson, who grew up in Deer Creek Reservoir, Utah. The two have been wakeboarding for most of their lives and are very proficient in the sport.

These instructors are certified by the Red Cross and are CPR certified. Furthermore, Utah Wake Camp is fully insured as per state regulations. That means parents won't have to worry about the safety of their kids. However, the camp still requires a camper's proof of insurance before registering.

Registrants in Utah Wake Camp are free to bring their own equipment. But for those who don't have their own equipment, they can rent the camp's equipment for a minimal fee.

First and foremost, Utah Wake Camp requires campers to wear helmets during wakeboarding sessions. Campers can bring their own helmets. Those who don't have helmets may rent helmets from the camp.

The camp has a good stock of Murray wakeboards. These wake boards are for riders who are looking for the pop-up feature of a three stage board but with the consistency of a rocker line.

They also have the 07 Premier wakeboards. This wake boards are designed to ride easily off the wave. Their jib ribs and ABS ridges make these wakeboards extraordinarily strong and tough.

Utah Wake Camp also has the Era wakeboards designed for intermediate and advanced enthusiasts. Their Fret Design Rail allows them to make sharp turns on the water. It has less friction but it's harder to control.

Utah Wake Camp also has its own boat that would pull wakeboard enthusiasts around. This boat is called the Wakesetter 23 LSV. As what the instructors call it, it is a perfect teacher's pet. The boat has 1,250 pounds of Malibu launch system, precision speed control, ballast monitoring system and power wedge. It can be used for either starting or professional wakeboarders.

Truly, this camp is a wakeboarder's paradise.
