It's a good idea if you eat after the exercises so that you can replenish it with new glycogen. If you don't eat properly, you will not be able to perform properly on your training session. If you are undergoing prolonged training, you should have an adequate stock of glycogen. Each individual is unique and so does nutritional requirements. Your nutritional requirements may be different from other individuals so make sure that you consult a medical expert.

If you want sustained energy, try eating a salad together with some chicken breast. Each meal should be complete with complex carbohydrates and protein. By eating balanced meals, you can stabilize glucose; so you will feel satisfied and energized.

Once you decide to be involved in mixed martial arts, don't take your health for granted. Visit your friendly nutritionist or doctor right away. You will learn how to eat better and how to pick the right choices of food. By eating well balanced meals, your body will become strong and healthy.
