Paintball is a highly equipment based sport, which has a strong cult following, with a reason for being so. It is quite easy to play, adrenaline packed, and very safe as well. In the United States alone, there are over 10 million paintball enthusiasts, standing testament to the general popularity of paintball.

At its most basic scale, the main concept behind paintball would be elimination from play, as paintball players have the primary task of marking opponents, thus putting them out of the game. Co2 Bottle - Paintball Magazine defines this term as the tank which holds the CO2 propellants which "fuel" paintball guns.

Markers - Short for Paintball Markers or Guns, the term refers to the compressed air powered guns used in paintball excursions.
