Inspect the furniture by looking inside every piece. Replacing the furniture, marine deck and carpeting ranges from $1500 to $2500. It is a bit expensive but you can be sure that everything will be restored.

The steering console and swivel seats should also be inspected for difficulties in rotation. The steering wheel can be a bit stiff if it is not used for a long time. Check the switches, gauges, lights, horns and other accessories if they are all working. If the pontoon boat has a motor, bring a service man with you to check if it is still running fine. Old motor parts are costly and are difficult to find.
