Skydiving Crash

Extreme sports and any sports for that matter including skydiving is a risky act. It involves a great amount of danger, however despite the random risk that is connected with skydiving hundreds are still allured to this seemingly ”deadly sport”.

Skydiving is still one of the most favorite extreme sports among Americans and other nationals around the world. In fact the sport has grown from just an ordinary skydiving and parachuting to a sport wherein stunts and other equally famous and dangerous sports like surfing and skiing is performed together with it.

Skydiving has claimed many lives, despite the precautions made to prevent any untoward incident while airborne. Both local and national papers and other broadcast media in the U.S. have headlined fatalities from skydiving crash.

Skydiving crash could be a direct effect from negligence either on the part of the drop zone or the concerned skydivers. News reports have shown that a faulty propeller or a malfunctioning old airplane caused some of the incidences. Others were due to failure of the parachute to open even the reserve ones. Some skydiving crash might be due to the skydiver’s intent to go beyond the limits in jumping that has gone awry. Whatever the causes of skydiving crash, lessons must be learned that in every activity precautionary measures should be the top priority.

“An ounce of prevention is still worth than a pound of cure”, might sound an overused cliché, nevertheless, it still hold true today. In planning to venture on a skydiving escapade safety means should be mastered. One can never go wrong having safety in mind. Regardless of what one does, danger or risk is just around the corner. It doesn’t choose its prey, when it happens it just happen especially if one is not prepare when it takes place. Like skydiving crash, it just happens with a wink of an eye if and only if safety means are not employed.

Little do we know that skydiving is much safer than driving a car according to some experts. The probability of accident in the latter is much higher than the former. It is no surprise why until today many are still looking forward to the adrenalin rush that they can get from skydiving. The newbies are so eager to try and the frequent jumpers are anticipating for their next attempt in skydiving.

The risk in skydiving such as a crash can be prevented. The sport is considered as one of the safest sports despite the preconceived danger attached to it. From the procedures to the gadgets and equipment, all are geared to protecting the lives of the people who are so addicted to this extreme sport.
