Soccer Ball Size: Be Aware Of The Differences

It is very important to be aware of the differences in soccer ball size, so that you can make sure that you are purchasing the right size ball. After all, of course if you are buying an adult sized ball it is going to be larger than if you are buying a child size ball. It is just important to be aware of this when you go out shopping for your world cup soccer ball otherwise you may have problems.

Especially if you have never played the game of soccer before, you just may not be aware that there are different soccer ball size options available and so this may cause some confusion. There are a few things in regards to the matter of soccer ball size which are important for you to realize and which will make the shopping process as easy as possible for you.

Different Sizes

So there are three different sizes that soccer balls come in, which range from size 3 to size 5. If you are purchasing the ball for a soccer league, they probably have their own requirements and will let you know what size of ball they require. Otherwise you are going to need to learn more about each of the sizes so that you can choose the right one for your needs.

There is size 3 for one, which are the smallest size of balls and which are generally used for children that are under the age of 8. Then there are the size 4 balls which are used for players that are between the ages of 8 and 12. These balls are a bit heavier of course as well and they have a circumference of 25026 inches.

Then there are the size 5 balls and the size 5 ball is the international standard which is use for children that are ages 13 and older and for all adults. This is the size of ball that is used for professional soccer play and are therefore the most commonly purchased.

Soccer ball size is one of the most determining factors when purchasing a soccer ball, so make sure that you are going to be getting the right soccer ball size for your needs. There are so many different types of soccer balls out there to choose from that it may seem confusing at first but as long as you keep this information in the back of your mind you will be fine.
