Bermuda Weddings

Do you envision exchanging your "I Do's" in an al fresco ambiance where the sunlight is kissing your skin with the warm zephyr blowing your hair? You might think that it is far from reality and that it will just dwell in your imagination. However, Bermuda weddings will defy all of those as it will give certainty on how it is to tie the knot in a captivating paradise.

Bermuda weddings have actually been the choice of a lot of couple who had decided to settle down. As a matter of fact, it has been rated in the Modern Bride magazine in the top ten nuptial destinations in the world. It is for the reason that they have well- established infrastructure that has all that you need for that most awaited moment in your life.

Of course, before going into the vows of Bermuda weddings, legal matters need to be ironed out to clearly establish legality. The pair just have to publish a notice in any of the local newspapers. After which, they will send a copy to the Registrar General together with $200 as payment. A span of 14 days will elapse before the certificate to marry will be issued.

One of the options for Bermuda weddings, it is by a choice of appointment in the Registry's marriage room which has a schedule of 10am- 6pm on a Monday to Friday basis and also on a Saturday from 10am- 12noon. It can only accommodate only twelve people so might as well just invite your closest relatives and the rest will just be in the reception. There should also be two witnesses who are above 18 years old present in the ceremonies.

Another is of course, in the church or if you want it in a resort, it should have consent from the clergyman. There are two important things to take notice such as divorced persons are not welcomed in any of the Roman Catholic churches in the country. This is also goes the same with those Roman Catholics that are not residents however, this can be waived under exceptional circumstances such as those who have families living there.

The most popular venues in the island include Astwood Park where it gives a panoramic vista of the ocean with the subtle pink hue sands. There is also the historic estate of Waterville that was built in circa 1725. Sophisticated hotels are also more than welcome such as Fairmont Southampton that is nestled in the highest point of Bermuda its lofty position of greens cascades down to the shoreline. Ariel Sands is also a favorite, so it is with owner award- winning actor Michael Douglas. If you want to be extra unique, you can go to Fort Saint Catherine which was constructed in order to have defense against the Spaniards.
