California Vacation: The Possibilities Are Endless

This river also serves as water supply center for the state. It serves as drinking water for almost 2/3 of the population in state and provides irrigation to farms and other agricultural uses. This valley is divided into two by the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. Sacramento Valley, the northern portion, serves as the Sacramento River watershed and San Joaquin Valley functions as the watershed of San Joaquin River.

A California vacation will also provide you with a glance of the famous Sierra Nevada. This snowy mountain range boasts of Mount Whitney, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia National Park and Lake Tahoe. These places brag of glacially carved domes, sequoia trees and freshwater lake.

California is also home to several deserts like the Mojave. The hottest point in North America, the Badwater Flat, is located in the Death Valley on the northeast part of Mojave. Due to this, a majority of Southern California experience hot temperature.

It is home to many industries like agriculture, aerospace, computer and technology and the wine industry. It also boasts of creating many job employments in transportation and utilities, government services, professional and business services, education and health services and leisure and hospitality. California has a wide variety of transportation channels. The state brags the Golden Gate Bridge which is a very famous landmark completed in 1937. This bridge provides tourists with an excellent view of the Bay Area.
