Grand Canyon Hotel

There is no doubt that the Grand Canyon is America's most recognizable natural attraction. Every year, thousands of visitors come here to gawk at the massive abyss below and the spectacular many-hued cliffs. But the splendid views are only one aspect of the Grand Canyon, hailed by many as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Adventure and thrill-seeking activities await you once you're there.

Below is a short list of Grand Canyon hotels with brief descriptions of each.

Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn

Located at Highway 64, Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn is the only Grand Canyon hotel resort in the area. It offers full-services, including a sports bar, two restaurants, a lounge, barber and beauty shop, a bowling center, guest laundry, and fitness center with sauna and Jacuzzi. In addition to that, this Grand Canyon hotel offers a game room where you can relax and have fun at a game of billiards, a gift shop where you can pick up mementos of your time at the Eighth Wonder of the World, and an outdoor pool, heated according to the season.

Grand Hotel and Canyon Star

Located in the Village of Tusayan, Arizona, the Grand Hotel and Canyon Star is just minutes away from the main visitor hub of the Grand Canyon, the South Rim. As the newest Grand Canyon hotel, it offers you something that no other Grand Canyon hotel can – architectural accents that mimic the designs of historic lodges of the American West. The Grand Hotel and Canyon Star is serviced by the Canyon Star Restaurant & Saloon, a full-service restaurant with a Western flair.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites

The Grand Canyon Holiday Inn Express Hotel is located just one mile from the Grand Canyon National Park South Rim entrance. It features 164 guest rooms and an annex composed of 32 suite rooms. Every room has free High Speed Internet Access, air conditioning, bath tub, copy service, ice machine, iron, radio, TV remote control, FAX, and a wake up service.

Radisson Woodlands Hotel

Located at 1175 W. Route 66 in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Radisson Woodlands Hotel has a distinct air around it, a certain atmosphere of comfort and elegance that are rarely found in other Grand Canyon hotels. From the moment you enter the hotel's lobby, your eyes are greeted by the rich decors of Italian marble and granite details. There is also an inviting wood-burning fireplace and furniture featuring hand-carved teakwood art.

There are, of course, any more Grand Canyon hotels to choose from. Most of the above mentioned are located in the South Rim, considered as the Grand Canyon's main tourist center. The North Rim, which is equally lovely, has few facilities but accommodations are more than sufficient.
