Seven Mile Beach In Grand Cayman

There's no doubt that Grand Cayman in its entirety is a tropical heaven but its pride lies in the vast expanse of nothing but fine white sand, dubbed by many as "the most beautiful beach in the world" - the Seven Mile Beach. Tourists, and even the locals themselves, flock to the Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman to witness this stretch of sand in the midst of the Caribbean seas.

The Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman offers you unlimited choices that both satisfies your imagination and soul. Whether you want to spend a day on the beach to tan your body, float pleasurably on the waters as clear as your hotel's pool, go snorkeling and live the unspoilt sea wilderness, or take your loved one for a romantic stroll along the beach during sunset and watch the sun gradually descend down over the horizon.

Enjoy the Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman at its best by browsing it from north to south passing along the Cayman Club at the middle part of the beach. The beach tends to narrow towards the southern end but sand is still good. The area between Georgetown Villas and Plantation Village is composed mostly of white sand beaches, although the beaches are iron shore (rocky) towards the southern part of George Town. Smith's Cove, although located at the south, remains a popular spot for tourists and locals alike.

If you have a passion for snorkeling, the location you should be heading is the Discovery Point Club at the northern part to the Silver Sands Resort of the Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. One of the best snorkeling site on the island is "The Cemetery" snorkel site, which is just adjacent to the Silver Sands resort, where you'll see magnificent coral formations, colorful species of fish in schools, or have an encounter with turtles and stingrays.

Near the Marriott Beach Resort is a snorkeling reef where barracudas, sergeant majors, jackfish, and many other exotic sea creatures are commonly seen. The whole middle part of the Seven Mile Beach consists of naturally sandy bottoms, and hardly are there corals or seaweeds so it's an excellent area for swimming since waters are exceedingly great.

The journey on the Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman could be enjoyably exhausting but hungry stomachs can buy goodies in modern supermarkets located at the periphery. The goods are shipped daily from Florida so expect to find all the good things back home there. Prices, however, could be reasonably higher. The Seven Mile Beach means fun, shopping, white sandy beaches, and lots of tropical sun. Definitely one of the most important stops in the Grand Cayman.
