Sunset House Grand Cayman

The hotel by divers for divers is what describes Sunset House Grand Cayman. It should be clarified from the beginning that the Sunset House is more than a house, but features hotel accommodations and amenities that divers and non-divers alike will be comfortable with.

Sunset House Grand Cayman is in a favorable location where it doesn't require divers to charter a boat and go elsewhere to find some great diving sites. Sunset House is situated at the tip of the island, just a mile south from George Town (the capital of the Cayman Islands) and 30-minute car ride from the Owen Roberts International Airport. This location makes Sunset House a little far from the traffic in the capital but makes the latter quite accessible in case you might want to do some shopping and get back on time for the next dive.

Grand Cayman is a special place but what makes the Sunset House more special to divers is its proximity to world-famous diving sites, which are practically right out at the marine backyard of the hotel. This makes it easier for divers to do a two-tank dive in the morning and immediately have a quiet lunch, then head to Sting Ray City for an hour of diving.

Sting Ray City is a rare diving site and perhaps the only one in the world, where divers have the opportunity to interact with marine's wilds anytime. The creatures are seemingly much familiar with human acquaintances, and you get to experience being with them with the help of guides from Sunset House staff.

If you're a non-diver and diving gears and equipment are not in your luggage, the Sunset House Grand Cayman will be glad to rent you some just so you can feel the excitement of an underwater journey. Sunset House can also provide you with basic training for diving. Plus, you can obtain a memorabilia of your dive by having your underwater picture taken by the staff at a rate ranging between US$25 - $250.

Accommodations are included in dive packages comprising of air-conditioned rooms with cable TV/DVD, "made to order" breakfast, two-tank boat tours daily, off-shore diving (complimentary), belt, weights, and tanks, complimentary locker for dive gear, 25% off on 65' Catamaran Sails, and many more.

Sunset House Grand Cayman takes your experience on the island to the highest level. You'll be taken to an underwater paradise, where the famous "Mermaid" awaits you 50 FSW from shore.

In case you want to cool off after a day of diving, the Sunset House Grand Cayman has a Jacuzzi and pool where guests can relax and drink a punch, or head out to "My Bar", the Sea Harvest Restaurant, or email your friends using Wireless Broadband Internet.
