Greece Hotels

Choosing from among the various Greece hotels can be as mind-boggling as a Physics exam. Every guest wants to make his stay as memorable and comfortable as possible, but with each choice claiming to provide you with the best vacation experience, you need to get to know them a bit more than what their ads say.

You choose Greece hotels according to the area you wish to visit, and not the other way around. Attika, the region where Athens is, has about 59 great Greece hotels, 26 of which serve Athens. These 26 Athens Greece hotels are divided into four: luxury class, first class, second class, and third class.

If you wish to make a stop in Central Greece, accommodations won’t be a problem. There are a total of fourteen hotels. Ten of these are located in Evia, three are in Fokida, and the remaining one is in Fthiotida.

Crete, which is the largest among the Greek islands, obviously has the most number of Greece hotels. There are four areas of Crete that divide this number of accommodations. Hania has its share of thirty-eight Greece hotels, Heraklion and Rethymnon have twenty-five each, and Lasithi has twenty-nine.

A region comprised of several islands is called Cyclades. It is home to around 106 Greece hotels, all scattered around its fifteen islands. Some islands, which are more popular than the rest, are the ones with the most number of accommodations. Those that are hardly known still have their share of fine Greece hotels.

Greece hotels situated in Macedonia total sixty eight. Halkidiki, which is in Central Macedonia, has the most number of hotels with its share of 21. Thessaloniki comes next with its eighteen hotels, and Pieria is third with seven hotels. The remaining areas either have five, three, or one hotel each.

The Ionian Islands is region of six islands. Among them, Corfu has the most number of accommodation choices with its nineteen hotels. Kefalonia and Zakinthos closely follow with fourteen and thirteen hotels respectively. Lefkas gives you nine Greece hotels to choose from, while Ithaki offers two. Paxi leaves you no choice with its share of one hotel.

There are 43 Greece hotels nestled among the seven islands that comprise the North East Aegean Islands. Peloponnese, which is in the southernmost part of the country, provides 59 Greece hotels. The central area of Greece’s mainland, Thessaly, presents 20 hotel alternatives.

Deciding which hotel to choose from amongst the list is not exactly that difficult if you know what you want and what you need from your stay. Plot out your choices and see if they meet your requirements. Remember, rates of Greece hotels do not dictate the kind of accommodations or the level of service.
