Greece Weather Conditions

Greece weather is generally the same all throughout the year. On most times of the year, the weather is warm and sunny. And when winter comes, it is mild and is accompanied with some rain. Its geographical location and position accounts for the seasonal winds that cools the area.

In Santorini, the sun makes itself felt in the summer. Greece weather for this place during the winter season has very little rainfall. On April to September, the weather will be generally warm and sunny. There will only be fewer occurrences of cloudy days.

Corfu is found in the northern part of Greece. Considered to have a unique climate, it is characterized by a high level of rainfall during the winter. In summer, Greece weather on this part has shown to be much cooler than in any other parts of Greece.

Paros, also typically Mediterranean, have sunny summers and mild winters. Being surrounded by the Aegean Sea, it becomes cold at nights with the air being humid. Strong winds also characterize this place due to its location, being in the center of the Cyclades.

Zakynthos weather is characterized by hot and sunny summers, and with its winters to be rainy. Indeed one of the hottest summers, as it is the sunniest in Greece, and with its winter to be quite humid and with high levels of rainfall.

In Mykonos, the weather is normally Mediterranean, with hot summers and mild winters. April to August will usually have warm & sunny days, with very low rainfall.

Rhodes has a mild Mediterranean climate consisting of mild winters. The summers are sunny and hot. The winds, especially on the months of July and August prove to make the climate cooler.

Generally, northern Greece has very hot but humid summers. And on winters, the temperature is very cold. The climate on the highest mountains are covered with snow have very cold temperatures. On summer days, one will find the Greece weather here to be cooler. On southern Greece, the climate is usually warm. Starting around the middle of October, the rainy season starts until the month of February the next year.

So if you want to visit any part of Greece, it would be nice to know what climate you will be expecting on the time and date of your tour. If you want to visit Greece when it is most sunny and warm, or when the Greece weather would be cold and rainy, it will all be up to you. You can also choose to be on the mountainous part or along the coastline. Whatever you want, Greece will have that time of year for you.
