Folding Luggage Cart Makes Moving Multiple Bags Easier

Even with the number of suitcases being sold with wheels built into them, there are still those that need to look into buying a folding luggage cart for their frequent traveling. They can be especially useful for those who carry multiple bags on their trips and can make moving their bags up and down stairs easier and less labor intensive. When looking to buy a folding luggage cart there are few properties that should be investigated before making the final determination about which one to buy.

The folding luggage cart was more popular before wheels were added to the underside of suitcases. A person could use one to move their bags from their car to the loading area and then strap the folding luggage cart to their bag, where it would be available when they reached their destination. They could then use the cart to move their bags to their hotel or motel or their stateroom on a ship.

Even with most large suitcases having wheels, persons carrying multiple bags can use a folding luggage cart to stack their luggage and convey many bags requiring the use of only one hand. The biggest thing to look at in choosing a folding luggage cart is the amount of weight they are capable of carrying before the threat of buckling cheap metal becomes a reality.

Choosing Size To Fit The Need

There are many different sizes available for a folding luggage cart, from short ones designed to hold about 100 pounds and generally one suitcase, to those with telescoping handles nearly six-feet tall capable of handling over 200 pounds of luggage. The number of bags being toted and how far they have to be maneuvered will determine the size and type needed.

Some of the carts also have extended bottom rails to allow the use to lay the bags on the side, which can be helpful when transporting several bags. The longer bottom rails allow them to build a stable stack of bags on the folding luggage cart, removing the potential for the bags to tumble onto the floor while moving them around.

Persons hauling a large suitcase, a smaller bag, briefcase and computer case will want to insure their folding luggage cart has a strap available to secure the load and still be able to be folded into a size small enough to use the same strap to hold it onto a suitcase for storage while traveling.
