The Great Louvre Museum In Paris.

This is a great thing to do if you are in Paris and want to see something that is really extraordinary. The Louvre Museum has been a museum since 1793, that's a long time. Only the neat thing about this museum is before that time it was a royal palace. It was renovated and updated in 1982 and they are continually improving. The pyramid and the areas that are actually below it are so cool to see.

The pyramid entrance is really long, but there's another entrance that is actually underground. There is a shopping mall on one side of the museum, and there are several things you can purchase. The mall itself has an inverted glass pyramid dropping down from above, and there is an actual remains of a moat that encircles the Louvre Palace.

From beneath the mall you can also enter the museum by the means of the Pavilon sully that will take you past the actual medieval remains of the castle.

The way the museum that used to be a roayal castle is built is so unique people literally roam the museum for hours just looking at the things that are inside the museum. There's a reception area where workers can assist you, and it is very easy to get lost.

When it is lit up at night, the luminous glow lights up the area around it for blocks it is said. The museum is full of exciting things from past to present, every time something important happens in Paris you can find it in this museum.

No one really knows why the museum was actually built within the remains of a royal palace, however the concept is original and really fascinating. W

With all the glass windows, you can see in all directions of Paris, as it was with the royal palace, and this is a neat way to see. You have to of course walk from one side of the museum to the other and back again, to see other parts of Paris.

This is however, how the watchmen of the royal palace protected the walls of the palace during its time. A trip to the past really, with the feel of the present and the future all combined. Another great thing to do is visit the museum during the day and you can literally see large reflections of buildings and other things off of the large glass panels of the pyramid shaped museum.

You might want to plan on spending a good part of your day here, as there is so much to see and do, and there are several shops to look through all around the grounds of the museum as well.

Each year the museum gets more visitors, and each year there are things added to the museum so if you go one year, the next will most likely have something or a section in the museum that you haven't seen yet. That's what makes this museum so extraordinary and unique, a side from it being a royal palace in earlier times.
