There will tons of other brides-to-be there and you will need to make sure you take the time to ask any questions you might have. There will be tons of vendors there, too and many things to sign up for. This is a great opportunity to meet several vendors who have the items you are looking for. You can expect to see everything from dresses to honeymoon packages and everything in between.

10 Tips For Attending Bridal Shows

1. Register when you enter this is a must for sure. It may take a few minutes but you do have all day so why rush. This will give you many chances to win prizes through out the day, including a honeymoon. Also many exhibitors will mail you money saving offers after the show.

2. Bring pre-adhesive address labels with your name, address, and wedding date on them. This saves tons of time when registering for prizes. It also makes sure that the vendor can easily read it so they can send you more great savings.

3. Bring a pen and small notebook to jot down any notes you might have. It will be a long day and you might forget some of what peaked your interest at the beginning of the show. So if you loved the 4-tiered cake with the velvet red roses, write down the vendor and what it is, so you can remember later. There is a good chance there will be multiple wedding cake vendors.

4. You will want to have your checkbook with you for this event. There are many savings you can have and you will need to have some money. If you need to book something or reserve something, you will need to make a deposit. Always come prepared fore sure.

5. You are going to have so many things in your possession by the time you are done with the show. There is no way you will have time to go through it all right there. Bring a large canvas type bag to put this stuff all in and go through at your leisure at home. This way you will be able to enjoy it.

6. Plan to spend a minimum of 4 or 5 hours at a large show, in order to see all the exhibits and the fashion show. You don't want to have a pressing lunch or have to meet someone at a specific time and have to leave early. Make this your day. There will plenty of food and beverages so you won't have to worry about being hungry. Plus, you can have cake samples for dessert.

7. You will want to wear a Bride-To-Be sticker. This will show vendors who you are and they will lavish you with attention and even a lovely give-a-way. They will help answer any of your questions and will take their time with you to make sure you know anything you want.

8. Bring your fiancé with you for at least one trip to the event, if he will go. This will give him a chance to look at what he might need or want as well. Many shows are now designed for couples and there are men's tuxedoes in the fashion show to help give him ideas on what to wear. Go again with your Mom and/or girlfriends, this will give you plenty of opportunity to really appreciate everything you need and want to see.

9. Make sure you ask as many questions as you like because that is what you are there for. The vendors are solely there to cater to the bride-to-be and will be extremely happy to do so. You will not be pressured to buy anything because they will just give you all the information you want. If you do see something you really want and were definitely looking for then go for it, you will gat a great deal buying or reserving at a show.

10. The biggest thing to remember is that you are planning your happiest day and you should relax and take in all you can. You will be on your feet a lot so wear comfortable shoes and have a great time!
