Using the right iPod cables can let you connect your music gadget to other audio entertainment devices such as TV, home or car stereo and many others. However good the audio quality may be, you may still have to manually control your iPod.

Kits for iPod cables may vary from one manufacturer to the other. Some brands may sell iPod cables that come with headphone splitters, camera connectors, USB cables and many others. For instance, Apple's iPod cables come with a USB, FireWire and AV cables. The USB cable can be attached to the iPod USB power adapter for on the go charging while the AV cable provides audio and video output when you want to view photo slideshows with music on your TV. Apple's AV iPod cables are specifically made for iPods with color display.
You can buy iPod cables in many offline and online stores. The Internet lists many websites that sell iPod cables at affordable prices. In addition, you may want to get a dock extender for your cables as well. This device allows you to plug your iPod or connect a cable into a dock even when your gadget is still in the case.
